As Our fearless leader happened to mention in another thread - he, and his talented team of helpers will be working all sorts of IT tricks to 'upgrade' this place we exercise our work avoidance at.

If you have any excellent suggestions please put them in this thread.

If they're shit suggestions - please PM them to F13.

I would like a blog update thingie on the top of the page. It must look like those things that update stock prices, or news... like time square and other places. Or give you the brief news at the bottom of the TV.

A 'landing page' for the forums - a home page for dementia that gives the latest threads, birthdays etc.

(B) eat,

I'll tell you what I want, what I really really want....

I want the threads to disappear from the "view new posts" list once I have read them, and only reappear once a new reply has been posted.

Thank you and good night

I tried to sing it in time to the song but it didn't work after the first line.

Would like to be able to hover the mouse curser over a thread title and see a pop-up of the 1st few lines of the thread. We can then decide whether we want to open it and read more or not.

Yes I have another request to go with my “return to top” request. How about a “jump to last reply” link at the top of forum? If there is one, just tell me where to find it.

Bigger avatars (Longer) with slightly less of a kb size restriction.

Perhaps show the number of the post in the thread so you can refer to a post by that number rather than having to quote it.

I would like an option of both (the disappearing is so conformist phpbb)

Also more quotes to be allowed at a time.

At some point, wasn't there a plan to move the site to dementia.co.za?
